Today our Middle School students learned about fire safety and interacted with one of our local fire engines. We appreciate Annville-Cleona Fire Dept for pairing with us on this project.

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week. If you or someone you know is struggling, support can be found by calling or texting 988 from anywhere in the United States at any time. 988 is the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Each month we will be highlighting different departments and staff members in the Secondary School. For September, we are highlighting our Social Studies Department and Mrs. Rachel Sider.

Congratulations to Anastasiya Kreider, Daniel Balsbaugh, Samuel Domencic, and Max Liedtka on earning a College Board National recognition. These students earned the National Rural and Small Town Award. This is a huge honor! Way to go Dutchmen!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 2023-2024 Community Kickoff event last night and helped make it a huge success. We are looking forward to an awesome school year!

2023 Community Kickoff is tomorrow (August 22) from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the stadium. We will have food trucks, games, apparel sales, free school supplies, fall team introductions, and a performance by our marching band. We hope you are able to join us.

Due to the current renovation project at the Secondary School campus, there are some logistical changes for games being played in the stadium this fall. Please see the attached announcement. If you have any questions, please call the Athletic Office at 717-867-7700.

New at Community Kickoff this year: - Food Trucks - Old Uniform Yard Sale - School nurses will be there to collect medical paperwork, student medication, and/or student medical supplies. These are just a few of the stands that will be available. We hope you can join us!

This week we welcomed our new teachers and staff! These dedicated educators have spent the past three days collaborating, learning about ACSD, and preparing for the start of the 2023-2024 school year! We are so excited to welcome them to the ACSD family!
